We are looking for an embedded systems engineer, who will be playing a pivotal role in developing a wireless communication system based on the existing Glass-Link infrastructure.
- knowledge of embedded software/firmware development processes - ability to program in C/C++, to integrate your code through external frameworks, BSPs, and 3rd party libraries - troubleshooting on embedded targets: board bring-up, SW/HW debugging, solving multithreading and memory issues, being comfortable using dedicated programming/debugging and lab measurement tools - understanding of what’s RTOS and how to effectively use it in an embedded system - knowledge of popular build tools like GNU etc., knowledge of cross-compilation techniques - ability to read and understand HW schematics and technical documentation - pragmatism and collaborative mindset
Good to have:
- knowledge in network protocols - ability to quickly build a proof-of-concept of a feature using an interdisciplinary approach to demonstrate its validity (e.g. if you’re working on an embedded HTTPS client on a microcontroller, can you quickly deploy a simple HTTPS server using Python or a similar approach to test your code?)
